This is essentially another suet product like fat blocks and fat balls. But of the three, this is by far, the most popular suet product with the birds in my garden - especially loved by starlings. They can be put in a feeder, or on the ground.
They are available in a variety of colours and flavours - I can't work out if any types are more popular than others. The one thing I will say though is, they are useless if they get wet - they turn to a mush that needs wiping up!
This is the feeder I use for suet pellets. I think it was originally used for seed, but it does the job for pellets too (as evidenced by the empty feeder!)
Hello, this blog is aimed at anyone who would like to attract birds to their garden.
