Mixed seed feeders

There are lots of different feeders available if you want to use mixed seed.  All of  my feeders in this category do a similar job in dispensing the seed but the one on the bottom (actually holding Niger seed in this picture - it does both) is easier to clean and holds more food, so that is possibly the one I would recommend.   I bought it from Homebase for around £8.

The other thing you can do with seed is put it on a bird table or other flat surface such as a ground feeding tray.  My hanging bird table is pictured below.

This is good for birds like Robins and Blackbirds who can't cling to hanging feeders.
